Here is that Burda #110 top again. Do you love it? I really like it. I never wear white because of my 17 children. I really like it though. It was really hard to get a decent picture of it inside or outside.
This is the most accurate color. It is a creamy white. I'm holding it because there is no zipper yet.
This picture shows the most detail. I used the selvages for the hem. I so totally nailed the pleats and the "knot" this time.
Thank you Kay Y (does anyone else snicker when they see her username? I've been teaching middle school too long) for helping me with the curving hem problem! She suggested that I make a tiny horizonal pleat to make it curvy without losing the scalloped edge.
I'll give you guys more details about the inside (partially lined), the hem, and the zipper treatment tomorrow. Right now, I'm toast. This is item #2 for the mini-SWAP!
