Mini-Wardrobe Contest - Done!

It's done!!! I really like the tops and bottoms. I have the more casual look with the knit top and a dressier look with the Burda eyelet top. The shorts I will wear to death this summer. It is nice to have some tried and true patterns that fit me well. I can whip up a couple pairs of shorts each summer.

Are any of you as competitive as I am? I try not to be so competitive but I am. It is the root of who I am. Compete. Win. Go, go, go. As soon as they posted that they would give a free pattern and pin to the first person who completed their wardrobe, I was there. In the zone. Ready to do it.

  6. Nope, I am not competitive at all. Bossy, yes, competitive, no.

You look ready for summer in your mini wardrobe, and very youthful. Nice work, Dawn!

  7. Yay!! Congrats on getting it done! I love the combinations especially the blue ones that are both spring and summer rolled into one!

Competitive? Nah...just kidding. I think every has a competitive nature. Some are just more upfront about it. Cause I wanna win this competition :O)

  9. I love your wardrobe. That green and blue are some of my favorite colors. I am so competitive that I am silly. I just got my 2nd issue of Burda and I was trying to figure out some instructions, and all I could do was sit there and think, "What if one of those ladies that blog figures this out and I can't? That would make me such a failure" I really hate my competitive streak and wish I could get rid of it. If I would spend that time trying to figure out instructions that I spend worrying that someone else will be able to do something I can't, I would probably understand better. However, it is just a part of who I am and I have to work to control it.

  10. I don't want people to think that I chose easy patterns so I could finish. I did learn, long ago, to embrace quality over quantity. I really did need a summer wardrobe. I can keep my competitive nature in check when needed. I would never want to get rid of it. It makes me work hard whether it is sewing a wardrobe, scooping dog poop, or biking to school in the mornings.

  15. Psst, don't tell anybody but I'm so competitive that if I don't think I have a chance of winning, I don't enter. It's not a trait that I'm proud of.

Can't believe how fast you can whip up those outfits! They look great.
