I hate packing.

I soooooooooo want to be sewing right now. I want to embellish little pants and those ITYs are screaming to be made into Jalie tops (specifically the scarf-top and the twist top). One of them is screaming at me to be made into a Burda wrap dress. Dammit! Why is it when your mojo comes back full force you have no time?? The Jalie 3204 Dress is wanting to be made too. I think I’ll add an inch to lower the bodice and then we’ll be good to go.

  1. You've found the cure for a lost mojo! Get swamped with something completely unrelated to sewing! Hang in there, the packing will be done soon enough, and your fabric will be waiting for you. If it could sprout legs and walk away, my stash room would be empty! But it isn't, so smile... you new house sounds so awesome!

  3. Mojo only knows to come when you want to be occupied with it, but must be occupied with something else. Dirty little rascal, that mojo :)

  4. My mojo likes to sneak in whenever I have a time crunch. I just say "I can have that done by end of day" and mojo appears.
BTW good luck with packing. And may the weatherman predict good weather.

  5. I hate the thought of packing too. Hopefully, this will be your last move for a very long time. Concentrate on your new home and what all you will be able to do once you get settled. And best wishes.

  6. Mojo returns when it's impossible to sew due to... we all want what we can't have. Similarly, sewing machines or sergers always die in the middle of a project. Although that is more reasonable as they break down during sewing :)
