Thanks for the help/encouragement with the older version. I think it was mostly the boatneck top. Odd how something like that can really make or break the jacket. Now I know to wear it with this top instead. I thought about changing the buttons bt I think it would damage the fabric.

Much better, the turtleneck gives some substance to the neck area and balances out the short sleeves, cool.

Much better (but I did prefer the longer sleeves...). I am really liking the polo underneath too. I think the fabric looks great "after the wash".
