I swear I’ve been sewing. I’ve actually been sewing a lot. My machine has been whirring away. However, it’s secret sewing so I can’t tell you about it. Like a vault. Like a vault, bitches.
Anyhoo, I loved this snuggly sweater in the Ottobre magazine, but it doesn’t seem to translate to my version. I’m just kind of meh on my version. Isn’t the Ottobre version cute??? Mine is shorter and HOW THE HELL did I manage to sew the back shorter than the front? That REALLY bothers me. So much so, that I may go back and rip out the back hem and let it out so it’s longer than the front. Right now, it just looks awkward . . .
I love the fabric. It’s one of my scores from my recent San Diego trip. It’s a super cozy sweater knit and I love the color. Buuuuuutttttt, I’m not loving the fit. Hmmmmmmm.
(And don’t judge. My sassy girl was taking pictures with my iPhone and it was so cold in my house and I was cold and it was a long day. I just feel good that I finally posted something!)
