One Down, One to Go

This is KwikSew 2689. I made this today and it was very fast so I'll probably whip out another one before we go to Hawaii in February. I really like the simplicity of the pattern and the fit. My husband picked out the fabric and I didn't really like it. As a swimsuit, I think it looks nice though. Go husband! Here's the full review.

Your suit looks great! You are BRAVE, girl, both with making the suit and modeling it.

Um excuse me but now you are just showing off. Those abs, I mean please tell me you work for hours on those each day! LOL What a fanstastic job, as usual. (great fabric hubby)

Ugh...Can we stick to sewing please? Actually, you've inspired me to try making a suit this summer, AND TO GET MY BUTT TO THE GYM!!!

Explain to me in the most simplistic of terms how you have a four pack after three(?) children? Please tell me it does not involve vigorous exercise, watching what you eat or genetics.

Cuuuute suit. You're lucky you can engage him in the picking out of fabric!

I see we are a lot alike - (originally) brown hair, blue eyes, thin nose, wide shoulders, likes red fabric. There the similarities end because You were able to whip that garment out in no time!

BTW, I agree with Everything everybody else said!

Wow, you are one hot momma! (The suit looks nice too!)

I've been trying to get motivated to run outside in the winter, and if you can do it Alaska, there is no reason why I can't do it here in Montreal!

Fantastic! Of course, I'm more incredulous how you can give birth to twins and still have smooth belly skin. I have a flat tummy but crepe-paper belly skin. Funny thing is, my youngest son LOVES my skin. Says it's so "soft". Glad somebody likes overstretched skin LOL.

Wow! great job with the suit, although I admit I'm distracted by my envy of your abs and all around fitness level. You are an inspiration to us all. You go, girl! :)

You and the swin suit look great!
You definitely don't have the body of a mom that's had twins.
