I'm horrible. I tried. I really did. I wanted to buy these patterns at my local boutique. I think it's important to buy local. I think it's good to support your local stores. **siiiigh** I've been waiting for the boutique to get these patterns and I just heard that the boutique won't be ordering them for quite a while. So, I just ordered these from PatternReview.com. Thanks Deepika!
I'm really into cardigans lately.
I loved this top the moment I saw it.
And who doesn't love a nice cowl-neck sweater for the winter? This is KwikSew 3740.
My skirts are darted and interfaced. Tonight I'll put in the zippers. Hopefully I'll get in all four invisible zips without any problems.

Oh I love the scarf collar top.
And if it helps, we don't get that brand of patterns in Australia, so I would ONLY be able to get it online.
That cardigan really looks like you... Can't wait to see it!
A girl has to do, what a girl has to do!
I've been fantisizing about cardigans lately, too. I love the one you ordered.
Your skirt post was hilarious, BTW.
You must be still drinking the earl grey! Lovely choices for patterns, btw.
I agree about buying locally, if possible. When not possible, Pattern Review needs support, too!
Hi, the pattern looks amazing. I was wondering how would you sew stretchy fabric. I made a pants recently and it was a complete diseaster. I used the straight stitch machine.
Your advise pls. Why I ask this is because I would like to sew this pattern too but the fabric recommended is Jersey.
Thanks!
Those are my new Jalie picks, too. Great minds... glad to hear you've found more time in the sewing room than last month!
I have just made my scarf collar top - you won't be sorry for ordering these patterns!
That top will look fabulous on you! I can't wait to see what crazy color/print you choose for it.
I agree with gwensews! I look for new patterns every time I go in to the store and every time it's the same old ones. I would rather buy local too but we can't buy what they don't have.
I hear ya about the buy local. I was so excited about my local Bernina dealer carrying Kwik Sew. They are a quilt shop and were bemoaning the fact that they had no garment sewer traffic, plus Bernina has started a push to encourage garment sewing. Then they told NO ONE they had KS. They also carried many colors of Ambiance rayon lining-again telling no one! Then one day, I go in to get lining "Oh, we sold it all in bulk". One day, went in for KS, "we don't carry them any more". Well, I did what I could. At least KS is available at Hancocks, away across town, not somewhere I go normally.
That cardigan really looks like you... Can't wait to see it!

That cardigan looks fantastic! I can't wait to see it. I also try very hard to buy locally, but sometimes you just have to have something!!!
