Jalie 2919 - Pleated Cardigan Again!

Yikes, this is what my hair looks like with no attention. This is hop-out-of-the-shower-and-air-dry-hair.

I made another Jalie cardigan. This is my second one (here's the first one) and I love it. This is a lightweight wool sweater knit I bought from out local sewing boutique. Yes, I'm wearing wool with my shorts. It's about 55 degrees today and that qualifies as Shorts Weather. Sometimes, though, Shorts Weather is a bit too chilly for a tank top. This wool cardi is perfect for a day like this.

The back, obviously. Not a whole lot to post about here.

It's a winner. It's a Jalie. It's wool. Nuff said. :)

I hope to have a pair of jeans cut out by the end of today.

That is really, really pretty. And so is your face and hair. You look like a schoolgirl sans makeup and naturally dried hair. Instead of a mother and employee and wife and all that other stressful stuff. The look suits you!

How come you are wearing shorts in Alaska and I am working in the garden and the woods.....still in sweats? Huh? Not fair!

Happy Mother's Day!! Hope your girls served you breakfast in bed!

Nice! I like the fabric. You have inspired me to pull out this pattern. I could use one of these at the moment. It's getting cold. In the 50's. I can't even imagine wearing shorts. :)

55 sounded brrr cold to me, so I had to go and convert - yep 12.7! Cold. But it is all relative isn't it? Anyway, the cardi is really nice and looks good with the shorts! And all that running gives you great legs!!

Cute! The colors in that fabric are so pretty on you. You know, I remember people in college walking around in shorts and sandals when the rest of us Texans were sporting at least a light jacket. It never failed, they were always from way north.

Love the fabric, and love the cardi! You're beautiful, so stop apologizing! I'm hoping to get the jeans traced off tomorrow...

This cardigan is great and the fabric is so fab. It really suits you well and I won't blame you if you sew several more of these. That Jalie pattern is definitely TNT worthy:)

haha- i burst out laughing when i converted that 55 degrees to celcius. Holy crap, and I was freaking out today because it was about 66 Fahrenheit in the office so i froze my butt off!!! (with much more clothing than you're wearing)

I'll send you some heat, if you'll send us some cool. A/C went on a few days ago here, and probably won't go off until mid to late Oct.
sigh.
