Kid Jammies

Remember these from my September 6th post? Holy cow, I put these off for a long time. I had to stop making them because I ran out of waist elastic. Then other things like meat and mothers got in the way. I think they turned out pretty cute. Check out the other post for close-ups of the embroidery. This is KS 3234. It's a pajama pattern that I use for all my kids' t-shirts and pull-on pants. I'm only on the second smallest size right now so I'll get many years out of this pattern. I made five pairs. One is for my son and the other ones are for a set of twins. How strange is this? I have a core set of college girlfriends that live in Anchorage. Out of the group there are two sets of identical twins and a set of fraternal twins. One was my roommate in college and the other was my next door neighbor in college. Tainted water? All three of us had twins within nine months.

Twins are getting to be really common for some strange reason. I know the moms of 4 or 5 sets that have been born in the past 3 years or so. I'm sure the medical experts would have a complicated answer. Actually, I have heard that triplets are about as common now as twins were 50 years ago.

Must be the fresh cold air up there! Cute PJs. The kids will love them! So will their mommies!

Very cute jammies, and I'm a bit late, but I've enjoyed all the moose info, too. Enjoy that yumminess this winter.

Very cute! I'm about to start a PJ kick, too, but I have to finish some fall pants first.

Great PJs! Quick question, for the sleeve ends, do you just use regular fabric or is that matching wide ribbing? It just looks like it stays in that shape better than just regular fabric would so I was curious, no rush! Have a great weekend!

Very cute jammies!! My twins are fraternal. Most people think they are a year apart - think I have boys who are 8, 7, and 6. Then I use the word "twins" and they will ask how I tell them apart! The same folks who had just thought they were a year apart will make the dumb comment about how I can tell them apart! It always amazes me how the word twin seems to mess with peoples brains.

Those are really cute! I feel like there are always such adorable girl clothing items out there, but it's always nice to see something cute and creative done for little boys. Very nice. :)
