Radio Silence

Thanks so much to all of you who have left comments here, at Etsy, via PatternReview, and with personal emails. I am okay. Obviously things are not perfect right now. I haven't posted in almost a month and the fingers are itchin' to sew. The brain, however, is preoccupied with larger things. There are friends and family that read this blog and they don't know exactly what I'm going through right now. I need to tell them what's going on before I say anything here. I DO REALLY appreciate the outpouring of support from you guys. I will be back and, hopefully, soon. I have some personal life things I need to sort out before I'll be able to focus on sewing. Don't worry! I'm okay. :)

Glad you are okay I've been wondering if something had happened. Our daughter went through a very scary medical situation in Feb and March and was worried your family had something too. Hope things turn around for your family soon.

I, too, have been so worried about you. Hope things get better soon. There are many hackneyed things I could say about life's ups and downs -- but I won't! Suffice it to say, you have tons of "friends"/fans out here who are pulling you for!

PS--I have to ask. When you have the chance, can you let us know how long it take to consume a moose? :) I was reading through your older posts a about a month ago and I re-read the moose processing posts and then a few hours later, I was looking through my freezer.. and I started wondering...LOL!

Dawn, I've never left a message before but you truly inspire me. Whatever is happening find comfort in all the people who care about you! I mean really! Look at all the comments that have been left after only a few days! Think about how many people read your stuff and haven't felt comfortable commenting, wow... it boggles the mind! I don't think I could put more exclamation points if I tried!

I miss your postings, but will gladly wait till all is well in your personal life again, I'm just glad you're alive and well (for a very brief moment, I thought that you might have run into an angry bear or some other wild animal while doing your morning run!).
