Late to the party . . .

A few of my friends have been working at me for a while now to join Facebook. I finally did it and it's like High School all over again. I only had one "Friend" for a while and it kinda actually makes you sad. But, since I've been on since yesterday I've "talked" to several old friends and my biological dad whom I haven't talked to in a year or so (long story). It's kinda fun and it will help me keep track of folks a bit better.

If you want to add me as your friend, I'd love to keep track of your guys too. It's a nice way of getting to know ya'll better too. :) I can't figure out how to link to a place where you directly add me (I'm new at this!) but my full name is Dawn Anderson. I'm the one that, well, looks like me. And you all know I'm in Alaska so you could search by that too. If there is a better way to direct you there, let me know. Like I said I'm new.

Come on . . . wanna be my friend? I feel like I'm in High School too!

LOL, Leslie was trying to get me to join the other day. I told her no way, I waste too much time on the computer as it is (case in point, right now!). I'll come find you when I do decide to join the party.

I joined last week so my youngest could ask Captain Picard (don't know his real name) if he was going to be in a Narnia remake. I'm looking for you but can't find you.

I'm seriously considering joining Facebook for the career networking opportunities, but whenever I say I'm going to sit down and do it my teenage DD throws a fit and says it's not appropriate for a MOM to do. Which makes me want to sign up even more, but frankly I just haven't had the time. One of these days...

I'm on there, but I can't find you. Send me a friend request and I'll add you!

Aside to LindsayT - definitely join! I joined up because Emmett said to me, "Ann, it's the MySpace for our generation." Let me know when you join and I'll add you. Another good site for serious job networking is LinkedIn

As a user of Friendster, Orkut, and MySpace when each of those rolled out, I've been digging in my heels on Facebook because I am tired of creating and maintaining new online profiles. Everyone loves is though, it's better than the other social networking sites. I think it's a good idea for you to join.
