More Fabric From Houston

My husband went to Houston again. That means more fabric for me!!!!!

A red and tan houndstooth. It's not pure wool. I think it might be a blend.

More silk dupionni. This is a green/blue silk. It's bea-uuuuuu-tiful.

This is another crinkle gauze fabric. It's very similar to this red and cream top.

This is a crinkle poplin. It's orange-y. I love it.

This is another polyester moleskin. I think another skirt is in my future.
And then, there are these two pieces. They are both silk. I think they are silk crepe. This lilac one has hand painted flowers on it.

This green one has, what looks like, bamboo painted on it. Both fabrics are very pretty but I don't know what to do with them. I'll be making a very nice dress I think. Maybe a party dress. I guess we'll see.

Is my husband the best or what?

Holy cow! My husband wouldn't even attempt to pick fabric for me - nor would he do very well if he tried. I especially love the last two - great possibilities!

Girl! You are one lucky momma! how does he do that? I can't even image my husband buying me fabric that I would like. The last time he brought me something it was not pretty! You are so lucky! Enjoy.

OOps, sorry Dawn, I thought I had clicked onto Summerset's blog! Well you are a lucky girl - all that fabric. And the way you sew, it will be into garments in no time.

Your husband has excellent taste. I can't wait to see what you make with it. I would rather have fabric than jewelry.

My dh would never be able to pick fabric for me either. I once asked my mil to bring me back silk from China. Big mistake. Lovely fabrics.

Husband is indeed the best. And you can just pop that orange plaid crinkle poplin in an envelope and send it right on to me. It's calling my name. Loudly.

I don't think I could trust the BF to choose fabric for me - I know he wouldn't do that well.
