I should have added a disclaimer to my two previous posts saying, "Don't be annoyed/hurt/miffed/concerned/irritated/bothered if I decide not to follow your advice." I think the overwhelming majority of you said SHORT! But I decided on the medium length. In the end, I have to wear them, flattering or not. But, in all honesty, I think this is a flattering length for me. I know the camera adds a few pounds but I'm about 110 lbs and they look nice, really! Well, even if they don't I have decided that they look nice. And, as my mother once said, "When Dawn decides, so be it."
I do think that shoe and top choice make this look much better. I did narrow out the legs a little bit. I think I took about 3" out between the pocket and cuff. I spread it out between the inner and outer leg.
I love the facing. It's a polyester charmeuse that I used as a lining in this wool coat. .
Egads! Look at those huge thighs! Yea, I'm over it. I like the pants. Go ahead. Mock me. :)

I think they came out great and the pairing with the shoes make them wonderful! They fit you perfectly and I can't remember which length I said was best. In the end it doesn't matter, it's your thing, you do what you wanna do.
I really like the length, especially with the shoes and top.
I love the length, you look so cute! i love the details and the contrasting facings. You are so good. I can't wait to seewhat you do next.
Very nice! Cropped pants are so in right now. By the way, I am pretty impressed with how fast you sew. It seems like you pop out a new garment every other day!
They look fine, love the facings. They would look good with flat sandals, too. I agree with another comment, you sew sooooo fast. It takes me days to finish something and at that, it can be a ufo forever, too.
Dawn,
I like your pants. You look good in them. Confindence is our best attribute!
You are not the worst Mother! I might get that award. My daughter closed-lined herself on the vollyball net in gym class last year. The following week I took her for her eye exam (2 months overdue) and surprise! She couldn't see! She wears glasses and she jumped 2 steps worse in each eye!!!
So far this year, again failed the eye test at school. Again I failed to get her in at the 6 month schedule. I have elbowed her and given her a black eye, rolled her fingers up in the windows of the car! Accidently to be sure, but it still makes me feel slightly like Joan Crawford!
I do like the length on you. Don't listen to us ;0) Great job!
I love them. They look super cute on you! Nice job! Like the length, the width is perfect, just cute!
Hmmm, I might have to look into that pattern myself now.... ;o)
Pants look terrific on you. Very stylish!
I think your taking out the width in the legs makes a huge difference. The length now works better and they are definitely more flattering than the wider version on you. They look great. Those are some killer shoes, girl!
Well it turns out you were right, good job you ignored us in the short camp! They look great, I agree that a slim fitting top and higher shoes make a difference. They look really well made too and you do not have big thighs by any stretch of the imagination!
The pants look great - you DO NOT look big in the thighs in them! The styling you have done really works for this outfit! I need to learn to do such a nice fly.
Love the lining it's so pretty.
I love the pants! And regarding the length, 90% of all the hip Swedish teenagers are currently wearing their chinos exactly like you do, folded up to just above the ankles, and I really adore that look, it's such a fresh take on a classic trouser.
I really like these pants on you Dawn. I was intrigued by this pattern when I first saw it, but was worried that the legs would be too full. I like what you did with them.
I like them long.
I love how comfortable these pants look on you, it really does exude summer casual. Great review and no I don't think it makes you look like it adds more pounds, it looks very nice on you
