Snaps

Boy, oh boy. It's going to take a loooong time to get these snaps all
sewn on. But I'm pretty sure they are going to rock.

Love those giant snaps.

They do rock! I used giant snaps (5 pairs) on a jacket this fall/winter and it really takes a garment to a whole new level. Can't wait to see it all done, with the belt, too!

I used identical (bigger?) snaps on my recent coat. I thought they were too dark initially, but now I really like them. They were terribly expensive here (over 5 € a pice); do you mind my asking where you got them and for what price?

Snaps rock! I just put some on my Liverpool shirtdress and fell in love with them. Now all my shirts and coats will have snaps.

They will rock! Just keep telling yourself that while you are working the needle and thread.

when I sew in snaps, I use my sewing machine; the same "button" stitch I use to sew on buttons. It's a little tricky to get the needle and foot lined up on an uneven surface; but it's quicker!

I just sewed in some of these large snaps on a coat repair. I doubled up the thread and that did lessen the time i.e. instead of two strands of thread, I had four. Hope this idea might help.
