Jalie 2911 - Cozy Pullover Top

It's another Jalie pattern (#2911). This is the easy pull-over I bought when I purchased the Jalie jeans. This is an over-exposed shot to show you the collar fold details. It's still pretty hard to see because it's black. But, do you know what it is???? Black wool jersey. This is possible my favorite fabric. Well, I love all wool. I really like wool crepe too. But wool jersey is in the top three.

As you can see, it's a looser top with a fun overlapping collar. The other view has a loose hoodie. This is totally a staple pattern for Alaska. We are all about layers here. Put it on, take it off, put it back on . . .

I didn't snap too many pictures of this one because it's not too exciting. If you could feel it, you would think it was exciting. But, alas, the pictures aren't crazy good or anything. Please note new Jalie jeans. I figured it was appropriate to put the jeans with the top.

And don't be scared for me. The neighbors are crazy but I don't think they are stupid. I don't think they will violate this court order. That, and the house is now under video surveillance and I'm heavily armed (and a crack shot).

Nice outfit! and quick, too!

Yeah, I figured that you'd be able to defend your property. I don't mind you bearing arms, just don't arm the bears, 'K?

Your top is great and very comfortable looking.

I am very sorry to hear about your neighbor. I think you should stay with a friend this weekend if you can't join your family. Crazy people do crazy things and it is not worth taking the risk.

Congratulations on the great jeans. You'll get a lot of wear out of that top also.

Just a quick question regarding Jalie tops as you have made so many of them...I have made the Choice of T's 2005 and the 2806 and love them both. However, I noticed that the arm hole is cut quite high especially on the 2005 (I made size U). What is your experience

Nice top, I never wear wool down here, it seems.

Good luck with the neighbor situation. Aim well, my friend.

I've looked at that pattern so many times. It just looks comfortable and cute. I live in Texas so don't need a lot of winter clothes, but I think I'll get that one this winter. Cute.
I'm glad you're able to protect yourself. You go girl.

Very nice! It reminds me of that 11/06 Burda pullover we both made.

And I'm really surprised to hear your love for wool jersey. I used it for the first time recently and found it awful to work with - curling hugely at every opportunity, and in both directions, and after only a few wears (and no washes), it's bobbled a ton, too. So for the money I'm not very keen to sew with it again. Can you tell me/us a bit more about why you love it so much?

Another "great" Jalie top. I like the fit.

I love your top--and both pairs of jeans you made recently. Like others, I'm glad you are safe and prepared. One has to wonder if there is anything you can't do?

You go girl!

I like this too. I live in Texas, but freeze. I'm thinking what I can make this summer, layering also to keep a bit warmer before winter next year. What do you layer for getting ready for bed? My husband will tease me about a "stand off" on taking my clothes off and getting ready for bed. I'd like to just pull part off, and put pj's on and keep some warmth in.

I'm also sorry about your neighbor problems. I hope it all blows over.
